Q.-4-
The number of moles of carbon dioxide which contain 8 g of oxygen
[a] 0.5 mol [b] 0.2 mol [c] 0.4 mol [d] 0.25 mol
Q.-5-
The number of atoms present in0.5 g-atoms of nitrogen is same as the atoms in
[a] 12 g of carbon [b] 32 g of sulphur [c] 8 g of oxygen [d] 24 g of magnesium.

  1. Q.4-d]0.25 mol
    1 mole of CO2=12gm[i.e-wt.of carbon]+32gm[i.e-wt.of O2]
    here,wt.of carbon=8g=(32/4)g
hence,in case of mole, we can say that,1/4mole i.e-0.25mole

    Q.5-c]8 g of oxygen
    0.5g-atoms of Nitrogen=7gms.of Nitrogen
    =1/2gm.atoms of Nitrogen
    here,8g of Oxygen=1/2gm.atoms of Oxygen
